Bihar (बिहार) के लोक नृत्य

जट-जटिन:-जट जटिन उत्तर बिहार का एक लोक नृत्य है।यह मिथला और कोशी क्षेत्र में देखने को मिलता है।यह एक युगल (Couple) नृत्य है।

इस नृत्य का मूल विषय जट जटिन की प्रेम कहानी है।लेकिन आज कल इस नृत्य के माध्यम से सामाजिक विषय जैसे गरीबी, प्यार, दुःख को भी व्यक्त किया जा रहा है।

यह नृत्य मानसून के मौसम में चांदनी रात में किया जाता है| इस नृत्य में 2 समूह में लड़कियां होती हैं। नृत्य शुरू करने से पहले यक्ष और बारिश को नमन किया जाता है।

किर्तनिया:-किर्तनिया मिथिलांचल बिहार का पारंपरिक लोक नृत्य है।नृत्य प्रस्तुति के प्रारंभ में प्रस्तावना, वंदना और अंत में मंगल गायन गया जाता हैं।

सामा चकेवा:-यह मिथिला बिहार का प्रमुख नृत्य है, इसे औरतें और लड़कियां अपने भाइयों के हित के लिए कार्तिक मास में करती हैं।

जात्रा:-जात्रा बिहार में रहने वाली जात्रा जन जाती का लोक नृत्य है।इस जन जाती का मूल निकास नेपाल से है।

घुमकड़िया:-

विदेशिया:-यह नृत्य भोजपुरी भाषा में किया जाना वाला नृत्य है।यह नृत्य बिहार के ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में अधिक प्रशिद्ध है और इसमें समाज की बुराइयों को नृत्य के माध्यम से बताया जाता है।

Paschim Bengal (पश्चिम बंगाल) के लोक नृत्य (Folk Dance)

काठी:-यह पश्चिम बंगाल में रहने वाली जन जाती का लोक नृत्य है| यह नृत्य केवल आदमियों के द्वारा ही किया जाता है क्योंकि इसमें एयरोबेटिक्स की मूवमेंट होती हैं।

पश्चिम बंगाल के बीरभूम क्षेत्र के बोरिस और डोम्स एरिया में यह डांस ज्यादा प्रचलित है।इस नृत्य में प्रमुख देवी दुर्गा माता है।

गम्भीरा:-गंभीरा लोक नृत्य पश्चिम बंगाल के मालदा जिले का प्रमुख नृत्य हैइसमें दो व्यक्ति होते हैं एक पोते और दूसरा दादा का किरदार निभाता हैयहलोक नृत्य सूत्रधार समुदाय के द्वारा किया जाता है

ढाली,जात्रा

बाउल:-बाउल पश्चिम बंगाल का एक प्रमुक लोक नृत्य और गायन है।यह प्रमुक रूप से सिधाचार्य द्वारा लिखे गए लोक गीतों के आधार पर किया जाता है| इस लोक नृत्य में हिंदुत्व के अलावा बुद्धिज़्म और इस्लाम का भी समावेश मिलता है।

छऊ:-छाऊ के क्लासिकल (शास्त्रीय) नृत्य है।इस नृत्य का मूल प्रारंभ भारत के ओडिशा राज्य में हुआ था।यह तीन राज्यों बंगाल झारखण्ड और ओडिशा में किया जाता है।बंगाल में यह पुरुलिया छाऊ और झारखण्ड में Seraikella छाऊ और ओड़िसा में मयूरभंज छाऊ के नाम से जाना जाता है।

Meghayala (मेघालय) के लोक नृत्य

लाहो:-लाहो डांस मेघालय का प्रमुख लोक नृत्य है।यह नृत्य स्त्री और पुरुष के द्वारा रंग बिरंगे कपड़ों में क्या जाता है।इस नृत्य में कोई भी संगीत इंस्ट्रूमेंट प्रयोग नहीं किया जाता है| एक पुरुष अपने मुह से ही दोहे बोलता है और धुन बजाता है।

बांग्ला:-वांगला मेघालय का प्रमुख लोक नृत्य है इसे 100 ड्रम फेस्टिवल भी कहा जाता हैवंगला लोक नृत्य सबसे पहले 6 दिसंबर 1976 असनंग में किया गया था।

Manipur (मणिपुर) के लोक नृत्य

मणिपुरी (शास्त्रीय):-मणिपुरी नृत्य को जगोई के नाम से भी जाना जाता है, यह एक शास्त्रीय नृत्य है यह हिंदुत्व के वैष्णव सम्प्रदाय पर आधारित है।इस नृत्य में राधा और कृष्ण के प्रेम को दर्शाते हुए नृत्य किया जाता है।

ओडिसी (शास्त्रीय):-यह नृत्य ओड़िसा के मंदिरों की देव दासियों के द्वारा किया जाता है।इसमें मुख्यत भगवान् कृष्ण और विष्णु के अवतार की कथाओं को नृत्य के माध्यम से वर्णन किया जाता है| इस नृत्य में हस्त मुद्राएं प्रमुख हैं।

Maharashtra (महारास्ट्र)

लावनी:-यह लोक नृत्य महारास्ट्र का सबसे लोकप्रिय नृत्य है।यह नृत्य केवल महिलाओं के द्वारा किया जाता है।इसमें 9 मीटर लम्बी साड़ी पहनी जाती है। इस नृत्य में अध्यात्म और श्रृंगार का अध्वुत संगम देखने को मिलता है।

नकटा,कोली,लेझिम,गफा,बोहदा,गौरीचा,ललिता

तमाशा:-यह महाराष्ट्र का प्रमुख नाटिका नृत्य है।इस नृत्य में हारमोनियम, घुंघरू, मजीरा आदि यंत्रों के प्रयोग किया जाता है।यह लोक नृत्य कोल्हाटी समुदाय के द्वारा किया जाता है।

Karnatak (कर्णाटक)

यक्षज्ञान:-यक्षज्ञान कर्णाटक का एक प्रसिद्द लोक नृत्य है।इस नृत्य को विशेष तौर पर धान के खेतों में रात के समय प्रस्तुत किया जाता है।जिसमें युद्ध से जुड़े पहलुओं को दर्शाया जाता है।

Gujrat (गुजरात)

गरवा:-गरबा लोक नृत्य के बारे में तो आप सब लोग जानते हो होंगे।यह नृत्य गुजरात में नवरात्री के अवसर पर किया जाता है।गरबा नृत्य के द्वारा माँ दुर्गा की आराधना की जाती है।यह नृत्य अब पूरे भारत में प्रसिद्द है और नवरात्रों के समय भारत के सभी क्षेत्रों में किया जाता है।

Punjab- पंजाब (पंजाब)

भांगड़ा:-यह नृत्य पंजाब का प्रसिद्ध नृत्य है मुख्यत पुरुषों के द्वारा किया जाता है। पंजाब में हर उत्सव में यह नृत्य किया जाता है।

गिद्धा:-यह नृत्य महिलाओं के द्वारा किया जाने वाला नृत्य है। इसमें महिलाएं पंजाब की पारंपरिक पोशाक पहन कर इस नृत्य को करती हैं।

Rajasthan (राजस्थान)

कालबेलिया नृत्य:-यह नृत्य कालबेलिया समुदाय के द्वारा किया जाता है।

धूमर:-यह नृत्य महिलाओं के द्वारा किया जाने वाला नृत्य है। यह महिलाओं के द्वारा लम्बे घाघरे को पहनके किया जाता है।

घापाल,फूंदी,पनिहारी

तेरहताली नृत्य:-यह नृत्य महिलाओं के द्वारा प्रस्तुत किया जाता है और इसमें पुरुषों के द्वारा भजन गाये जाते हैं। इस नृत्य में महिलाएं अपने शरीर पर मंजीरों को बांधती है और गीत की धुन और लय के साथ मंजीरों के साथ बजाय जाता है।

जिन्दाद,नेजा

भवाई नृत्य:-यह नृत्य राजस्थान के उदयपुर क्षेत्र में किया जाता है। यह नृत्य सर पर मटकों को सर पर रखकर किया जाता है। इसमें नर्तकी सर पर मटके रखकर और गिलास और थाली के किनारों पर खड़े होकर नृत्य करती है।

नौटंकी:-नोटंकी नृत्य उत्तर प्रदेश का सबसे प्रसिद्द लोक नृत्य है।नोटंकी नृत्य में हास्य रस, वीर रस आदि की प्रस्तुति की जाती है।इसके अलावा तरह तरह के वाध यंत्रों का प्रयोग किया जाता है।इसमें गायन, नृत्य और लोक कथा इसका प्रमुख हिस्सा है।

Jharkhand (झारखण्ड)

छोलिया नृत्य:-इस नृत्य को छलिया नृत्य भी कहा जाता है।यह उत्तराखंड के कुमांऊ क्षेत्र का एक प्रचलित लोकनृत्य है।यह शादी बरातों और अन्य शुभ अवसरों पर किया जाता है।यह विशेष रूप से कुमांऊ मंडल के पिथोरागढ़, चम्पावत बागेश्वर और अल्मोड़ा जिलों में किया जाता है।

Andhra Pradhesh (आन्ध्र प्रदेश)

कुचिपुड़ी (शास्त्रीय):-इस नृत्य के नाम आंध्र प्रदेश के गाँव कुचिपुड़ी पर ही रखा गया है।इस नृत्य में कर्णाटक संगीत के साथ, म्रदंग, वायलीन आदि यंत्रों का प्रयोग किया जाता है।इस नृत्य के प्रयोग की जाने वाली पोशाक भी आकर्षण का केंद्र है।

घंटामर्दाला,मोहिनीअट्टम (शास्त्रीय),कुम्मी,सिद्धि मधुरी

Chhatisgarh (छत्तीसगढ़)

पंथी नृत्य:-पंथी नृत्य छत्तीसगढ़ का एक प्रमुख लोक नृत्य है।इस राज्य के महँ संत गुरु घासीदास के पंथ से ही पंथी नृत्य के नामकरण हुआ है।यह नृत्य सतनामी समुदाय के द्वारा किया जाता है।इस नृत्य में नर्तक सफ़ेद धोती पहनकर झांझ और म्रदंग के साथ नृत्य करते हैं।

पंडवानी:-यह छत्तीसगढ़ का एक एकल नाट्य है, इसके पांडववाणी भी कहा जाता है।इसमें एक ही कथा वाचक और नृत्य करता होता है।इस नृत्य में महाभारत की कथा कही जाती है।यह छतीसगढ़ की जातियों की गायन परम्परा है।

थाली:-थाली हिमाचल प्रदेश का प्रमुख लोक नृत्य है।थाली नृत्य में नर्तक और गायक एक गोल घेरे में बैठते हैं और नर्तक एक के बाद एक अपनी कला को नृत्य के माध्यम से प्रस्तुत करते हैं।इस नृत्य में नर्तक पानी से भरा लोटा भी रखकर नृत्य करते हैं।

बिहू:-यह लोक नृत्य असम की कछारी जनजाती के द्वारा किया जाता है।यह नृत्य फसल की कटाई के समय ही किया जाता है और साल में तीन बार किया जाता है।इसके अलावा यह नृत्य परम्परिक साधारण वस्त्रों धोती और गमछा में ही किया जाता है।

मोहिनीअट्टम:-यह एक शास्त्रीय नृत्य है।इस नृत्य में आँखों, हाथों और चहरे के हाव भाव बहुत अधिक महत्वपूर्ण होते हैं।यह केरल के विशेष सफ़ेद रंग की जरी वाली साडी पहनके किया जाने वाला नृत्य है।इसके अलावा यह नृत्य हिन्दू पौराणिक कथाओं पर आधारित है।

कथकली:-कथकली भी केरल का प्रमुख नृत्य है, इसमें हिन्दू पोरानिक कथाओं रामायण और महाभारत का सम्पूर्ण वर्णन नृत्य के माध्यम से किया जाता है।इस नृत्य में प्रयोग की जाने वाली पोशाक, वस्त्र आभूषण विशेष आकर्षण है।इसके अलावा नृत्य में हाथों की मुद्राओं और चहरे के हाव भाव का भी विशेष महत्व है।

Performed on the celestial tunes of theCarnatic music, Bharatnatyam comes from the state of Tamil Nadu in South. Theorigins of Bharatnatyam can be traced back to 1000 BC, and it originates fromthe ancient temples of Tamil Nadu performed by the women of the classicalperiod. The dance form is known for its beautiful body movements and gestureswhich are called Mudras in the traditional language. It focuses on the handgestures, leg movement and the facial expressions of the dancer. This danceform was very prevalent before the British era but was profoundly depressedduring the colonial period. However, India kept the dance form alive in thehouses, and today it is recognised as one of the most respectable art forms inIndia especially in the Southern region of the country where it is a moment ofpride for the women of the house to learn the classical dance form ofBharatnatyam.

Coming from the northern part of thecountry from the state of Uttar Pradesh, Kathak comes from the word 'Katha'which means "story" in Hindi. It isn't a very smart guess for one tomake that Kathak is performed in the form of storytelling through the bodymovements used by the dancer. Kathak is often referred to as the dance of love,and it can be performed by both by the male and female dancer together. Thisdance form focuses highly on the ankle movements complemented by the ankle thathas to match the beats of the music. Ankle bells or Gunghroos as they arecalled in the traditional language is an important part of the discipline ofthis dance form. Kathakali is another traditional danceform of India which relates to the storytelling. Kathakali translates to the'storyteller' in the country's language. Coming from the Southern region of thecountry from Kerala, Kathakali is one of the most renowned and religious dancesforms of India. It originates from the tales of Ramayana and Shiva stories.Kathakali includes the intriguing face movements and the heavy costumes whichinclude the traditional face masks and body paints (generally green). Belonging to the Andhra Pradesh,Kuchipudi is probably the toughest form of classical dance in India. Kuchipudiis not just considered as the dance but a whole religious procedure dedicatedto God which includes certain rituals such as sprinkling the holy water,burning the incense sticks and praying to God. Kuchipudi includes both singingand dancing by the performer which is why it requires both the skill and muchmore dedication than any other art forms in India. In the earlier period,Kuchipudi was only performed by the male dancers in the temples, specificallythe Brahmins( Upper caste of the society) but with the passage of time, itbecame famous amongst the women and nowadays it is mostly performed by thefemale dancers.

Odisi dance form comes from the state ofOdisha in the eastern part of India. The traditional dance has been derivedfrom the Hindu temples in Odisha. Most of the gestures and movements (Mudras)are inspired by the sculptors and idols belonging to the ancient temples ofIndia. The dance is performed as a way to express the mythological tales ofHindu gods, including that of Shiva and Surya.
